Nalyse and Rome meet circa summer 2019 on Nalyse’s Hell’s Kitchen rooftop via a mutual friend. From there Rome aka “The Biblical Beard” becomes a customer of ETUOILS, eventually requesting a custom-blend beard oil. The rest recreates history. They join creative forces. Rome’s expertise in fashion campaigns such as Gypsy Sport, which contributed to their CFDA/Vogue fashion fund win, paired with Nalyse’s oil-making artistry was a match made in culture-heaven.
Together they’ve created “New Beard Culture”, an initiative that challenges traditional stereotypes associated with beard owners. We use beard oil models who own beards as well as freshly polished silver nails. New Beard Culture recognizes that there is no beard care without self-care, love, and acceptance.
